Animal cell is the same as human cell. No difference.
Cells are the smallest basic structural and functional unit of living organisms. We have different types of cells each with it's different structure and function.
Below is a diagram of a cell, let's uncover together the significance of each part.
Cell membrane: this is a thin lipid protein rich membrane covering the outer layer of the cell. It is semi permeable protecting the cell from its environment. It also regulates the passage of materials in and out of the cell.
Nucleus: it contains DNA that regulates various cell activities and protein synthesis.
Lysosomes: they contain enzymes which break down cellular debris, waste products and foreign substances.
Mitochondria: double membrane organelle responsible for producing energy ( ATP) through cellular respiration.
